Important RICS APC Update – Efective from 1 January 2026

RICS has announced a 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐏𝐂 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲, effective 𝟏 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, which will directly impact all future candidates.

- From this date, candidates will be limited to 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐱𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫 (𝟒) 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 (Chartered or Associate).
- A 𝐟𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭 will only be considered 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝟏𝟐 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞.
- All assessment attempts 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟏 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 will be counted under this cap.
