SLQS-UAE APC Support Program | Winter Session 2025 / 2026

As part of SLQS-UAE's mission, "𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞," we are pleased to inform you that registration for the online (Zoom/Teams) 𝐀𝐏𝐂 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞 – 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, focusing on 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐏𝐂 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, is now open for members who are preparing for their final APC Assessments (AIQS/RICS).

The programme consists of the following:

 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 (𝐖𝐞𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐬) to discuss Competency outlines.
 𝐐&𝐀 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 to discuss previously asked APC questions with backgrounds.

For those who intend to sit for the APCs in May 2026, we believe it is essential to participate in this support program that will enhance the candidates' knowledge and skills.

 𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐒 𝐀𝐏𝐂 𝐎𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬 (𝟓 𝐖𝐞𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐬):
- Commercial management (of construction works) or Design economics and cost planning (whichever is not selected as core competency)
- Conflict avoidance, management and dispute resolution procedures or Sustainability
- Contract administration & Risk Management

 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐀𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫 (𝐐&𝐀) 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 – approximately 15 Webinars.

 𝐖𝐞𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐒 & 𝐀𝐈𝐐𝐒.

𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄𝐒:
1. The program fee is 𝐀𝐄𝐃 200.00 for 𝐒𝐋𝐐𝐒𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧/𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬. A payment link will be shared with registered members in due time.

2. Please note that these funds are used to 𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 (𝐒𝐋𝐏𝐀 𝐋𝐋𝐂 𝐅𝐙). Any remaining funds are used to 𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐋𝐐𝐒-𝐔𝐀𝐄 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬.

3. The SLQS-UAE confirms that the 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 (𝐒𝐋𝐐𝐒-𝐔𝐀𝐄 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬) who conduct these CPD programs 𝐝𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐚 𝐟𝐞𝐞 as they provide a 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 achieve success in their professional recognitions. 5. The 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐞𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐋𝐐𝐒𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐫𝐢 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚. This does not apply to the SLQSs in Sri Lanka who work remotely (for foreign firms).
