QVoice Toastmasters – Meeting No.17
August 5, 2024The QVoice Toastmasters Club held its 15th meeting on June 8,
2024. Here are the highlights:
Toastmaster of the Day:
TM Thulara took center stage as the Toastmaster of the Day (TMOD), captivating the audience with the delightful theme "Movies Time." The meeting was a cinematic experience, filled with insightful discussions and creative presentations that left everyone feeling inspired and entertained.
Word of the Day:
TM Lasni introduced the word of the day, "Mesmerize," which many members used during the meeting.
Project Speeches:
- TM Buwaneka delivered a Level 3, Project 1 speech.
- TM Hafrath presented his Level 1, Project 3 speech.
- TM Menaka gave a Level 2, Project 1 speech.
Educational Session:
TM Benjamin from TGIS Toastmasters conducted an educational session on "Speech Evaluation." It was a delightful surprise for the audience, providing crisp and insightful exposure to evaluation.
Table Topics Session:
TM Punyamalie led an engaging Table Topics session with a horror house theme, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. The imaginative prompts sparked lively and entertaining impromptu speeches from all participants.
Speech Evaluations:
The speeches were well evaluated by:
- TM Sachin (DSO Toastmasters Club)
- TM Richa (MAHE Toastmasters Club)
- TM Aparna (Ace it Marina Toastmasters Club)
A General Evaluation was conducted by DTM Anitha from the Newstart Toastmasters Club.

- Best Table Topic Speaker: TM Sachin (DSO Toastmasters Club)
- Best Evaluator: TM Sachin (DSO Toastmasters Club)
