October 18, 2023On September 9, 2023, the Central Committee of Sri Lankan Quantity Surveyors in the United Arab Emirates hosted a dinner at Novotel Hotel, Deira City Center, to welcome new Sri Lankan Consul General to Dubai and the Northern Emirates, Mr. Alexi Gunasekara, and were delighted to have the presence of Head of Chancery, Mrs. Dinithi Weerasena.
The Central Committee had the privilege of presenting the rich history of SLQS-UAE, achievements, objectives, current programs, and exciting future initiatives.
The Honorable Consul General shared insightful thoughts on the vital role played by Sri Lankan Quantity Surveyors in the UAE and expressed his deep appreciation for the exceptional services rendered by SLQS-UAE members to our motherland in various capacities.
He emphasized the importance of enhancing the brand recognition of Sri Lankan Quantity Surveyors, both within our homeland and on the international stage. The Consul General extended his full support to this endeavor from his office.
The event culminated with a sumptuous dinner that added a delightful flavor to the gathering.
