The video highlights the dynamic energy of SLQS members, showcasing our prowess not only in our professions but also on the dance floor, as we synchronize our bodies with the rhythm and music. After three years of silence, the evening was a remarkable celebration, thanks to the outstanding performances by AROH, the musical band, and the nation's pop princess, Raini.
Despite the absence of our anticipated performer, the king of Pop, Rookanantha Goonathilake, who flew from Sri Lanka, Raini filled the stage with her captivating presence, ensuring that no void was felt. The 36th Annual Get Together of SLQS-UAE concluded triumphantly on 9 December 2023, at the Millennium Plaza Hotel, Downtown Dubai, U.A.E. SLQS-UAE is delighted to unveil the official event video, capturing poignant moments commemorating over 36 years of SLQS's enduring legacy. This event marked a significant milestone as it emerged from a three-year hiatus enforced by the Covid19 pandemic, signifying SLQS-UAE's complete return to normalcy.
Over 400 SLQS-UAE members and their families actively participated in the event, joined by more than 40 distinguished invitees including diplomats, industry experts, representatives from globally renowned professional institutions, and valued partners. As the pinnacle of SLQS-UAE's event calendar, it celebrated another successful year of operations, providing members with an opportunity to conclude the year in grandeur. The evening was replete with festivities honoring the organization's accomplishments, fostering camaraderie among members, and offering top-notch entertainment complemented by delectable cuisine.
The entertainment at the SLQS-UAE 36th Annual Get Together was unparalleled, courtesy of the musical talents of AROH and the captivating vocals of Ms. Raini Charuka.
